After talking about embracing our ambition the other day, many of you asked:

"Paano ko malalaman kung nasa season ako ng rest o season ng pursuit?"

Because the line between "needing rest" and "just being lazy" can be confusing. ๐Ÿค”

When I'm scrolling Netflix instead of working, am I recharging or avoiding?

When I'm going all-out on a project, is that healthy drive or running from something?

After swinging between burnout and stagnation, I've found clear signs to tell which season I'm truly in.

You're in a season of pursuit when:
- Challenges give you energy instead of draining you
- You wake up with ideas that won't let you sleep
- The work itself feels good, not just finishing it
- Time disappears when you're working
- You can't stop talking about what you're building

You're in a season of rest when:
x Your body and mind feel truly tired
x Your idea tank is empty
x Small problems feel huge
x You're making mistakes you normally wouldn't
x Things that used to excite you now feel heavy

Hindi nakakahiya ang mapagod. What's problematic is denying that you are.

And equally problematic? Thinking laziness is the same as true rest.

Napansin ko sa sarili koโ€”real rest rejuvenates. It refills the tank. After genuine rest, I feel that familiar spark returningโ€”that itch to create, to build, to pursue.

Being lazy, on the other hand, actually drains me. Each day of "lazy resting" leaves me feeling more empty and restless.

That's the key difference.

Here's my simple rule:
โœ… If resting is making you stronger, keep resting.
โœ…ย If working is making you feel alive, keep working.
โœ… If either starts doing the opposite, it's time to switch.

Because the most successful people aren't just those who push hardestโ€” they're those who know exactly when to push and when to pause. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿš€
